Today as in past years, desperate children, women and male refugees wait in places of asylum for the chance to resettle to a place of permanent safety.
It is an unfortunate reality that these victims of inhumanity in their homelands too often face continuing insecurity, extreme poverty and some times terrible acts of violence at the hands of common criminals and others.
Many refugees wait years in places of asylum in hope that somebody will reach out and say WE CARE! Some known refugees in as Iraqi camp have been there over twenty - five years.
